Setting the Al Fresco Tablescape

If there was ever a holiday to utilize an al fresco tablescape, it’s Thanksgiving 2020! With the global pandemic still impacting all of our lives, there’s no time like the present to plan an intimate outdoor affair for your quaranteam. To celebrate autumn, we’ve rounded up some of our past fall home tablescapes and tips. We worked with local Houston aficionados Maxit Flower Design and Your Butler’s Pantry to create a stunning al fresco tablescape and lounge area fit for a COVID-friendly celebration.


Al Fresco Tablescape Color Schemes


Furthermore, there’s no reason to pigeonhole yourself at Thanksgiving with just an orange and brown color scheme! We incorporated tones of amber, blush, marigold, and creamy neutrals for a feminine, fall-inspired look. Vintage-inspired glasses, plates, and linens, hand chosen by Your Butler’s Pantry, add an heirloom quality. Maxit’s stunning signature floral style also helps create an unmatched ambiance.

ORGANIC MATERIALS

Also, fall décor doesn’t have to be stereotypical! I love to add organic elements and fall is the perfect time to be inspired by nature. Include earthy materials like straw, wheat, assorted foliage, or raffia. Next, complement it with interesting seasonal items like figs, persimmons, and pears. From wreaths to tablescapes, there is no shortage of ways to incorporate fall florals into your home.


In the outdoor lounge, for example, a single stunning Maxit arrangement was perfectly complimented by a bottle of rosé. Velvet and patterned pillows from the Perennials C’est La Vie collection add warmth and texture to the seating area.
